Dartmoor Zoo, Devon
We were delighted to receive an enquiry from Dartmoor Zoo to replace the front apex window, main entrance doors and replacement windows to the Jaguar Restaurant. This installation had to be carried out in a live working environment as the restaurant had to remain open after one of the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Smart Systems Aluminium Commercial Shopline Double and single Entrance Doors were used including low-level disabled thresholds, anti-finger traps & auto closers. Smart Systems Smartscreen Curtain Walling was used to create a window at the front, while PVCu Optima Profile 22 Double Glazed were used to replace the windows in the restaurant area.
The client was so pleased with the initial works, we have since completed orders for new large vision panels for the Meerkat compound. Future works are planned for the Lion and Tiger enclosures.
